Capital Physiotherapy offer a range of services such as Sports Physiotherapy, Neck and Back pain, Headaches, Clinical Pilates, Pregnancy care and Massages. We pride ourselves on treating your injury for the long term, providing not only relief from your pain but also a long-term solution to your injury.
Our philosophy is always around a high client contact, high client care model. Every minute of the appointment is spent one-on-one with the physio. As our therapist have longer one on one time with each individuals, we are able to have very accurate diagnosis and will be able to treat your condition effectively and efficiently. We have strong emphasis on proper diagnosis and also medical referral where it’s appropriate.
Bulk Billing Policy
Our physio clinic provides bulk billing for our clients.
Please note that we do take Medicare bulk billing if you have a very specific doctor’s referral letter called the EPC letter (Enhanced Primary Care Program). Please ask your GP if you meet certain criteria before you are eligible for an EPC and medicare services. Unfortunately, only your GP (NOT us) who knows your eligibility. If you are qualified, you will have up to 5 free visits/year to a physio.

Capital Physiotherapy Physiotherapists:
Melanie graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. During her degree she obtained clinical experience throughout the public and private systems. Melanie has completed all levels of Mat clinical Pilates from APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute). She also did multiple sports, dancing, pre and postnatal as well as dry needling courses.
Working in Monash University Sport Physiotherapy Centre, she is experienced in treating office workers and also a vast array of sports injuries. She has particular interest for runners, swimmer, cyclist and dancing injuries. She is also trained to perform Pre-Pointe, Pilates and running assessment. Melanie has a keen interest in treating and educating clients to help individuals recover and achieve their personal health goals.
Osler graduated with the Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Post graduation, Osler has worked all around Victoria, gaining experience in private practice. He has also had a short stint in Singapore. He has worked closely with the FFV NTC Boys/Girls, FFV State Football Girls U13, as well as the Australian Women’s Volleyball. He has particular interest in post-operative rehab and is keenly interested in sports injuries. In saying that, Osler has also had many experience working with clients who has back pain and neck pain (including headaches).
Osler is currently looking after the South Yarra Soccer Club, and is always looking to support other clubs in the future. He is very passionate about getting both elite athletes and weekend warriors back to their best, and love to encourage people to keep active.
Jonathan Stanley-Clarke graduated from Otago University in New Zealand in 2008 with a degree in Physiotherapy (Bachelor of Physiotherapy). Since that time, Jonathan has worked in private practice and seen a vast array of sports injuries. He has worked with multiple U20 Melbourne Storm Players. He also have worked closely with many sports surgeon such as Stephen Mcmahon, Graham Lowe, Justin Lade and many more.
Jonathan has been deeply involved in sports clubs in the past and has a keen interest in his own fitness and nutrition. He enjoys treating all musculoskeletal and spinal injuries. Jonathan has experience with bodybuilding and associated nutrition, as well as extensive work in managing headaches and neck pain.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Melbourne with Doctor of Physiotherapy . She has experience working with the Brunswick masters Football Club (FC), the University Blacks FC and the University of Melbourne sports medical team, which equipped her with skills to assess and treat acute and chronic sports-related injuries in athletes varying competitive levels and age. She has also completed all three levels of Matwork Pilates from APPI and is keen in utilising it for rehabilitation as well as for injuries prevention.
Stephanie is passionate in keeping people of all age and injuries history active. She strongly believes in strengthening and conditioning post-injury to encourage active lifestyle and prevent injuries. Stephanie enjoys boxing, pole dancing, getting sunkissed in summer and riding on a snowboard in winter.
Franklin has spent much of his adolescents receiving physiotherapy treatment from martial arts related injuries in Canada. Naturally, developed his interest towards rehabilitation. This lead him to complete his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Melbourne. His experience as a physiotherapist assistant in Canada and head sports training with the Melbourne Masters Football Club has given him much understanding in management of both acute and chronic injuries.
Franklin firmly believes an active lifestyle will help prevent injury from returning. As such, he enjoys working with clients to manage their pain and promote physical activity to prevent injury occurrence. He continues to stay active through various martial arts training and events, including brazilian jujitsu, boxing, Wushu and lion dancing.
